Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held entirely outdoors, overlooking the ocean — so you'll be surrounded by the beauty of Maui all evening. The venue is on grass, so we strongly recommend block heels, wedges, or heel protectors for anyone wearing heels. Thin stilettos will sink into the lawn and make for an uncomfortable evening — trust us on this one! Flats and sandals are always a great choice too.
Can I bring my kids or additional guests?
We love your people — but our guest list is carefully curated and space is limited. Only the guests listed on your RSVP invitation are able to attend. If additional guests — children or adults — were not included in your invitation, we unfortunately cannot accommodate them at the event. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with exactly the people we had in mind when we planned this day.
What's the weather like in Maui in March?
Maui in March is warm and beautiful — temperatures typically sit between 75°F and 82°F with refreshing ocean breezes. That said, March falls at the tail end of Maui's rainy season (November through March), so it's worth knowing that brief tropical showers are common, and it's not unusual to see a passing shower at some point each day — often in the morning or evening. These showers are typically short-lived and the sun returns quickly. West Maui (where our venue is) is on the leeward side of the island and tends to be drier than the north and east sides. Pack a light layer for the evening and don't be alarmed by a little rain — rainbows are just part of the Maui experience. And of course, it's also peak humpback whale season!
Is there a shuttle from the hotels?
In order to accommodate everyone's different accommodations and schedules, we will not be providing a shuttle. Parking is available at the venue. We do recommend designating a driver for the evening or taking advantage of Uber/Lyft for a worry-free night of celebrating.
Will the wedding be photographed?
Yes — we have a wonderful photography team capturing every moment of the day. We kindly ask that guests keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away! We'll share the professional photos with everyone after the wedding. Personal pictures and videos from the reception are more than welcome — we'd love to see your perspective of the night.
Are there pre/post wedding events?
There are no formal events outside of the wedding day itself. That said, head over to the

What time should we arrive?
We ask that all guests are seated by 3:10 PM. The ceremony begins promptly at 3:30 PM. We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes early to allow time to park, find your seat, and settle in — late arrivals may not be able to be seated once the ceremony has begun.
When should we plan to arrive in Maui?
We recommend arriving at least one to two days before the wedding — ideally by Thursday, March 11 or Friday, March 12. This gives you time to recover from travel, explore a bit, and not feel rushed on the big day. If you can make a longer trip of it, even better — Maui is worth it!
What's the dress code?
Tropical Formal — think whimsical, chic, and colorful. We love bold color, pattern, and personality. Midi or maxi dresses for women, lightweight suits or dress shirts for men. No jeans, flip flops, or white/ivory/cream dresses please. Head to the

How do I get to the venue?
The Maui Pineapple Chapel is located in Kapalua on the northwest side of Maui. If you're renting a car, it's a scenic drive along the Honoapiilani Highway. We recommend using Google Maps or Waze closer to the date for the most up-to-date directions. Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are available on the island and are a great option if you'd like to enjoy the open bar worry-free!
Where are guests staying?
We recommend staying on the northwest side of the island near the venue — Kapalua, Napili Bay, and Lahaina are all great options with easy access to beaches, restaurants, and the venue. Airbnbs in Napili or Lahaina are also a great budget-friendly option. Head to the
